As such, your vehicle must be equipped with the best equipment to get the job done. [In a previous article,](https://https://intblog.onspot.com/en-us/blog/tire-chains-are-they-the-best-choice-for-rescue-vehicles) we discussed snow chains for emergency vehicles and offered [a comparison of their pros and cons.](https://www.onspot.com/en-US/knowledge/ways-to-increase-traction/) **3 professions, one requirement.** If there is one thing in common among the police, ambulance, and firefighters, it’s the necessity for short response time. You must be ready to take the road to help save lives as quickly as possible. No matter the traffic, the weather, or the nature of the emergency. Your mission is your priority! **The balance of speed and safety** When winter hits, visibility, poor driving conditions, cold, snow or even ice (if not all 3 at the same time), make it difficult to respond to calls even though you do not have the choice. You must arrive safely, maybe to save a life! Now, imagine yourself in these winter weather conditions. Would you be ready to get out of the cab? To take heavy manual chains and put them on the tires? To remove them when necessary?
