2021... The turn of the year we have all been waiting for. 2020 brought with it surprises the world was not ready for. COVID-19 has changed the way we live our daily lives.
We no longer greet with a handshake, hug a friend we have not seen in a while, or even kiss a newborn baby. Now we wear face coverings, greet with a wave, and conduct business virtually. The world adapted and did so quickly. That says a lot about who we are as people. Although 2020 shook the world up, there is so much to be thankful for!
Let us take a moment and thank all those front line workers who worked tirelessly throughout this global pandemic. Without the sacrifices they made and the bravery they showed, there is no telling where we would be today.
The amount of home time in 2020 should not be overlooked. What a joy it has been for all of us to spend more time with their families. COVID-19 may have changed the way we work, but allowed us the opportunity to see our children, spouses, and/or partners more than normal.
It is officially time to turn the page on 2020. A year we will never forget.
