Each of them has been designed to meet a specific need, and we will reveal our secrets about wheels and chains! **Two different Onspot systems** If we look at Onspot worldwide, we see that there are two different Onspot systems. One is specific to the North American market and the other is used in rest of the world. ***Do you know why the systems are different?*** First, we need to answer why trucks aren’t the same on the five continents? Each piece of equipment evolves differently according to the country, the culture and the market. We supply a 6-strand chain wheel as its standard chain wheel. - The 12-strand chain wheel gives the best grip on ice and snow, with always two links between the tire and the road. - The 18-strand chain wheel is a comfort wheel, which is good on ice and which you can’t feel that much in the vehicle. These four types of chains come in two sizes: 170mm and 190mm. 20 mm apart is not much, but this has been studied to offer you the best performance according to the size of your tyres.
