Learn more about our findings here. The United Nations homepage provides a comprehensive explanation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by all member states in 2015. These goals serve as a shared blueprint for achieving peace and prosperity for both people and the planet, emphasizing the importance of ending poverty, improving health and education, reducing inequality, and addressing climate change while striving for economic growth. *"The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests."*   Onspot and the [VBG Group](https://www.vbggroup.com/en/sustainability/overview2/) recognize the importance of sustainable development and have taken a proactive approach in identifying the specific goals that we can make a significant impact on. Through the survey, we have pinpointed the seven goals that align with our values and expertise, where we can use our resources and knowledge to promote positive change. These chosen goals are not only crucial for the betterment of society and the environment, but also align with VBG Group's commitment to innovation, responsible consumption, and ethical business practices. By focusing on these seven goals, Onspot and the VBG Group aim to play our part in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and creating a better future for all. The seven goals are: - Goal 5: [Gender Equality](https://intblog.onspot.com/en-us/news-press-releases/onspot-and-un-sustainable-development-goal-5?hs_preview=cqjDCLSZ-118515546668) - Goal 7: [Affordable and clean energy](https://intblog.onspot.com/en-us/news-press-releases/onspot-and-un-sustainable-development-goal-7?hs_preview=RDMFDAxc-118515546993) - Goal 8: [Decent work and economic growth](https://intblog.onspot.com/en-us/news-press-releases/onspot-and-un-sustainable-development-goal-8?hs_preview=PYTPQwLe-118515546778) - Goal 9: [Industry, innovation and infrastructure](https://intblog.onspot.com/en-us/news-press-releases/onspot-and-un-sustainable-development-goal-9?hs_preview=vzzUORdq-118515547170) - Goal 12: [Responsible consumption and production ](https://intblog.onspot.com/en-us/news-press-releases/onspot-and-un-sustainable-development-goal-12?hs_preview=HgitJxUe-118515547283) - Goal 13: [Climate action](https://intblog.onspot.com/en-us/news-press-releases/onspot-and-un-sustainable-development-goal-13?hs_preview=iJjtWxaZ-118516932383) - Goal 16: [Peace, justice and strong institutions](https://intblog.onspot.com/en-us/news-press-releases/onspot-and-un-sustainable-development-goal-16?hs_preview=TdeBQbDa-109019534238) --- In a series of postings we are sharing the insights on each of these goals.
